Focus: Dynamic, geometric, and rhythmic.
A comprehensive visual concept for the German Windsurfer Club (DWSC), the central representative body for windsurfers in Germany. The goal was to modernise the identity of a community that has been active since the late 1970s, making the sport visible for the long term.
The Concept: The design translates the core elements of windsurfing — sun, wind, and water — into a reduced, concise visual language. Inspired by the geometric clarity of the Bauhaus movement, the identity uses rhythmic shapes to convey a sense of motion and direction.
The Logo: A stylised sail meets horizontal lines and a clear circular form. By interlocking these few, well-defined elements, the logo becomes a distinct mark that is both immediately understandable and abstractly readable. It is designed to maintain a strong visual presence across various scales, from small icons to large-format applications.
